About a quarter to a third of the book is simply not accessible to people who don&#039;t know how to set up servers or write advanced scripts.  I know basic HTML and hand code my websites, but I found discussions of such topics as advanced XML a bit over my head.  That&#039;s OK, because the rest of the book was great for novices

&lt;br /&gt;&quot;SEO Warrior&quot; is a complete guide to getting your page noticed by search engines.  It&#039;s not just about Google rankings and keywords, thought that&#039;s clearly a focus. &lt;br /&gt;Just be prepared for a long read. This book was written as a textbook, and is about as enthralling. The language frequently slips into a pedantic style, making for a boring, exhaustive read into a topic that requires some programming background to fully appreciate. There is almost no concession made to the non-programming audience, and even programmers will likely get bored quickly, skimming through some sections. This is just not a book that lends itself to easy reading. The online extras for those that purchase the book are worth it, however.

		<description>This book, like so many in the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) space, that I teach and train in suffers from the problem of esoterica.  It has a lot of details, but lacks a big picture.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;I did learn some great stuff about advanced / hidden Google search tools like the use of intitle, related, etc., in Google searches.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;I also wondered why it is titled SEO Warrior?  I believe that a book&#039;s title conveys its philosophy, and I like to think of SEO as working with Google, Yahoo, or Bing, rather than against them.  The idea of being a warrior implies a competitive hostility between your website and the search engines.
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;We need more SEO lovers and not fighters out there.  If you are experienced in SEO, this book is worth it.  If not, I suggest SEO for dummies or an introductory text first.
